We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the IT Planning & Delivery Department within the Technology Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Analytics & Service Development, the position holder will be tasked with:
- Planning and tracking IT Planning And Delivery resources and projects.
- Planning and tracking IT Planning And Delivery CAPEX budget.
Duties for the Resource & Planning Senior Officer Job
- Develop the resource management plan by identifying resource requirements and obtaining commitments from internal, external, and procured sources to complete all project activities.
- Refine project time estimates in order to determine and define project baseline, schedule.
- Develop a formal and comprehensive resourcing dashboard showing project progress against resource utilization.
- Manage project progress by ensuring that activities are executed as planned in order to achieve Quality and Deliver on Time.
- Release project resources by following appropriate organizational procedures in order to optimize resource utilization.
- Planning the department CAPEX budget through the whole process from initial planning , receiving the money, to raising POs
- Sharing monthly reports on CAPEX budget utilization
Resource & Planning Senior Officer Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Management, Computer Science or Project Management.
- Certificate in project planning/project management expertise or PRINCE 2 or PMP.
- 3 years’ experience as an IT analyst in a busy IT environment
- Planning and organization.
- Experience as a projects team member in a large project preferably an IT project.
- A good understanding of managing projects in a changing business environment.
Experience in providing administrative and project support
