Qualifications for the Software Engineer Job
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 1-3+ years experience developing, optimizing, and deploying scalable, performant php applications (preferably on PHP Laravel).
- Experience with relational databases (preferably MySQL).
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
- Knowledge of source control, preferably git.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented and MVC concepts.
- Familiarity with deployment pipelines and continuous integration practices is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
- Eager to learn new things.
