Nestlé Job Vacancy : Order to Cash Process Optimisation Executive

Nestlé is the world’s leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company, committed to serving consumers all over the world. In keeping with our current business needs, the Supply Chain Function in Nestlé Regional Head Office has a vacancy of an Order to Cash Process Optimisation Executive reporting directly to the Regional Customer Service and Distribution Manager. The role will be based in Nestlé Equatorial Africa Head Office in Nairobi.

Purpose of the job:

The job holder will identify and execute Order to Cash process initiatives to improve performance, monitor execution of controls and meet current and future business/market needs.

 

Key Responsibilities will be to:

 

Managing continuous improvement by:

  • Ensuring transparency of the order to cash process;
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the function KPIs – promote integrated continuous excellence measures across Order to Cash teams;
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the Service Plans;
  • Proactive recommendation after rigorous analysis (e.g: new filter parameters);
  • Promoting good practices and sharing across organization at all levels of learning logs;
  • Proactively engaging operational functions, providing a clear understanding of the results (benefits and competency building) through appropriate communication channels and training/coaching session;
  • Determination of toot cause for repetitive or systemic exceptions and coordinates the identification of an owner to implement action plans across the Order to Cash process and/or Functional Stakeholders.

 

Ensure support & communication by:

  • Supporting Centre of Competence in defining common ways of working to maximize efficiency and standardization;
  • Supporting function in order to continuously review, follow up  and monitor progress to improve: customer service level; freshness as a “mindset”; deliver competitive advantage; minimize exceptions; enable cost improvements and excel in compliance.
  • Escalate issues regarding alignment, communication and ways of solving exceptions – drive a clear “path to action”.
  • Ensure improvements are continuously translated directly into a visible and tangible value and communicate to the market the benefits of the initiatives for our customers and Nestlé.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;

  • Honors degree from a recognized university, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain or Business Administration;
  • Minimum 3 years operational experience in Order-to-Cash with specialization in: Demand Capture & Order Filtering, Stock Allocation & Order Optimization, Logistics, Billing & Pricing;
  • Experience in project management and in leading and coaching problem solving activities;
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical skills.
