Roles for the Structural Assistant Engineer Job
- Preparation of structural survey and civil works drawings including detailing of steel and concrete structures layouts and details of drainage schemes roads and paved areas
- Production of bending schedules
- In addition the officer will work under the guidance of a more experienced officer in preparation of scheme drawings and details pertaining to the design of sewerage disposal systems, paved areas and allied engineering structures
- Taking off quantities for simple projects
- Carry out elementary survey and levelling for civil engineering schemes.
Structural Assistant Engineer Job Requirements
- Must have KCSE C -(minus) and above or its equivalent
- Served in the grade of structural assistant III or comparable position in public service for three years.
- Diploma in building /civil engineering OR construction technician certificate part III from a recognized institution.
- Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.
