Reports to: Designer
Responsibilities for the Senior Assistant Designer (Fine Art Illustrator) Job
- Develop book cover/layout designs to print ready artworks;
- Conceptualise, plan and execute all forms of illustrations assignments for internal clientele;
- Generate fine art illustrations;
- Prepare digital content files from print ready files;
- Carry out regular back up of all design projects.
- Undertake photography assignments; and
- Effect textual corrections on fine art assignments as directed by project managers/editors.
Senior Assistant Designer (Fine Art Illustrator) Job Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in Art and Design/FineArts or Graphic Design Option.
- Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Art and Design/Fine Art or a relevant field from a recognised body.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- Problem solving, decision making, integrity, good communication, organisation and planning skills.
- A good team player, maintains high work standards, reliable, easily adapts to new environments and self-motivated.
