Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:
Job Title: Partnership Accountant
Duty Station: Nairobi
Duration: Open Ended Contract
Job Summary: The incumbent will ensure all aspects of Concern’s financial procedures and processes with local partners and Consortia members are effectively carried out.
He/she will make sure that partner contracts are in line with our standard template; review alt partners’ assessments findings and design capacity building approach and plan in consultation with finance officers.
As part of monitoring, he/she review partner expenditure reports and carry out planned and ad hoc reviews / audits focusing where the money and the problems are.
Job Specification:
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Internal Audit certification (CIA)
- CPA (K) or ACCA professional certification
- At least three (3) years’ experience in internal auditing
- Experience in working with international NGO that works with partners is an added advantage
- Proficient in computer software applications including at least one accounting/financial software, preferably Microsoft Great Plains (MGP), Word and Excel
- Confidentiality, integrity, accountability and attention to detail
