Our client is a leading ICT Service provider based in Nairobi. They seek to hire a competent Stores Assistant with experience working in a busy environment.
Stores Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Monetary lead generation of KShs. 250,000 per month.
- Generate 3 new Leads per month
- Assist in ensuring current stock update is communicated to the respective product managers
- Assist in ensuring zero damages, losses and maximize stock safety
- Assist in clearing all dead and slow moving Stock.
- Assist in ensuring minimum stock levels of fast moving products.
- Assist in reducing project expenditure
- Enhance speed in availing and issuing of goods to both internal and external customers
- Assist in tools and equipment repair and maintenance schedule.
- Assist in ensuring stores requisitions are processed within 10 minutes for normal requisitions and 30 minutes for project requisitions.
- Ensure 100% compliance in the following areas: ISO Compliance – Zero Non-conformities.
- Mandatory real-time use of CRM /ERP system on all stores department aspects
- Assist in ensuring weekly spot checks and submission of variance stock report within the hour
- Assist in ensuring the stores items are clearly labelled, clean (dust free, damp free) and well arranged.
- Strict adherence to stores operations regulation. Opening hours from 10:00 am to Closing at 4:30 pm
- Assist in enforcement of the Stock movement register and real time update.
- Assist in ensuring weekly reports on Standby, POC or Demo equipment are submitted to the FM indicating the status. POC timeline should be 7 days
Qualifications for the Stores Assistant Job
- Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies or a Minimum 3 years’ Stores Management experience.
