Our client a leading hospital based in Kisii County, Kisii Town is looking to hire Head of Finance an d Supply Chain personnel to join their dedicated team
Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership and advice to the Finance and Procurement teams, ensuring a clear understanding by all of the financial position and Hema agenda.
- Provide financial leadership into the budget setting, monitoring and reporting of income and expenditure, supporting and deputizing the Managing Director as appropriate.
- Apply a high level of skill and knowledge to ensure the financial position is reported accurately each month and where errors are identified, the appropriate action is taken to address.
- Provide financial leadership and support to the Management Team, Hema’s senior management team in the development, feasibility analysis and implementation of strategic plans.
- Produce and maintain the short-term financial plans and the longer-term financial strategy.
- Ensure planning regimes are in line with local and national best practice, strategic plans Ensure best use of bench-marking tools for comparison of specific indicators, to support key planning assumptions appropriately.
- Analyze the impact of investment plans, reporting back on achievement to assist Hema’s decision making and future plans.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost saving and service redesign through advanced analytics, bench-marking and other techniques. Support their implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance from a recognized institution/ CPA (K)/ Masters in Finance/Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage
- At least 3 – 5 years’ work experience in finance and administration in a hospital environment.
