Our client a Dubai based multinational company providing printing solutions (toners and cartridges) in Middle East and Africa; is seeking to recruit an Indian export sales manager to be based in Nairobi branch and handle East and West Africa regions. The ideal candidate must have previous relevant experience in Export Sales of Printing Solutions or ICT Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving profitable revenue growths, and be accountable for driving goals and critically contributing to a holistic, strategic business planning process
- The individual will build up and maintain good relationships with customers, agents and distributors in other African Countries
- Achieve business results including growth in Top line and manage cash flow
- Drive profitable growth year on year by significantly outperforming the market and ensure Brand Development & establish & grow Market Share
- You’ll also have to consider, and comply with, legal and ethical restrictions on international trading
- Develop and execute well-designed business strategies and capitalizing on untapped business opportunities including expansion opportunities by establishing company’s products and brands
- Monitor the processing of orders and check that the distribution is running smoothly and that everything is on schedule; deal with any complaints
Or queries that occur after delivery
- Strong review of market trends and competitor activity with a view to present business cases for future years with the senior leadership
- Efficient management of all support and back-end activities so that there are no gaps between supply and demand
- Lead and supervise the team in Kenya and ensure regional targets are met
- Employ productive sales and marketing strategies to reach the target market including tendering
KPI’s
- Add two prospects per week
- Add four closings per month
- Ensure 100% retention of new closings
- Visit customers every quarter
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or any other field with relevant experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in export sales especially to either East or West African Regions
- Experience in selling printing solutions or ICT solutions is Key
- Kenyan Indians are encouraged to apply because of the target market and language use
