An Officer at this level will be deployed in a Ward. The officer will be responsible for the overall administration and management of agricultural activities in the ward.
Responsibilities
- The officer may also be deployed in specific project areas as Crop Production, Land Development or Project Management.
- The officer may also be assigned a supervisory role over a number of Agricultural Assistants deployed in working units and /or projects.
Requirements
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Served in the grade of Senior Agricultural Assistant in the public Service for at least three [3] years;
- Attended a departmental training course in participatory approaches or supervision; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
