Finance /Budget Officer(14 Posts) at Busia County

  • Compiling and formatting financial estimates;
  • Taking initial action on budget monitoring and
  • Preparing reports and briefs on budgetary policy issues.

Qualifications

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade C- (Minus) and above or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: – Commerce (Finance Option), Economics, Business Administration, Business Management or Finance.

OR

  • Any other Bachelor’s degree with Certified Public Accountant II (CPA II).
  • Satisfy the requirement of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 leadership and Integrity.

Additional Requirements

  • All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents
  1. Tax Compliance Certificate.
  2. Clearance from HELB where necessary.
  3. Clearance from the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission.
  4. Certificate of good conduct from the police.
