BIDCORO runs a factory placed in Ruiru and employ around 50 employees covering manufacturing, quality control, marketing, finance, supply chain, sales and HR.
About the role
Reporting to BIDCORO CFO and with a dotted line to CO-RO’s Regional CFO, the Commercial Finance Executive’s role will be:
· Commercial accounting:
· Monitoring/ Driving Efficiency Agenda on cost savings
· Analysis of SKU contribution for all brands & SKU’s
· Pricing & Contribution analysis. Also, to understand impact of change
· Assisting in Vendor Negotiations & comparison of multiple vendors
· Sales Commercial Controller Functions like payment follow up, Credit Limit monitoring, Customer Health monitoring, etc
· Statutory accounting:
· Monitoring Cash Inflows/ Outflows & Fund Planning
· Monthly Reporting of Financials in multiple formats
· Budgeting & detailed quarterly Forecasting
· Resolving Internal Audit queries from time to time
· Proper accounting of transactions
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree in Finance with great results followed by at least 3 years’ experience with a consumer goods company. Experience from a beverage manufacturer is ideal but not essential. You need strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Experience with SAP or similar ERP is an advantage.
You’ll be part of a complex matrix setup due to the business model of the company, so a proven track record of stakeholder management is ideal as well as the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally in English. You need to be very strong in numbers including seeing “behind” the numbers and communicate the WHY in a clear & understandable way.
