  • Taking on a customer facing technical role, you’ll get to grips with the world’s most advanced technologies, see new products come to market and introduce cutting-edge technology solutions to our customers.

Overview

  • As a Support engineer, you will be on the front lines of our customer support efforts.
  • You’ll analyze technical software problems and develop solutions for a broad range of customers, including small development shops, independent software vendors, and Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Using your technical expertise, analytical problem solving skills, and passion for customers, you’ll take on critical situations in technically challenging circumstances. Your willingness to travel on short notice is essential.

Role-specific Qualifications

  • Experience working in a large data center, IT/operations department or helpdesk is preferred.
  • Professional certifications (SharePoint, Windows, MCITP, etc.) are desired.
  • One year of experience with VB, C/C++/C# and/or XML development skills preferred.

General Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or Electrical Engineering or STEM fields or related fields with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship.  Alternatively still registered as a student at the time of application (South Africa).
  • Passion for technology and working with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service oriented skills desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • English language and local language fluency for all roles.
  • Full unrestricted work authorization for your chosen location.
