The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) is the voice of employers in Kenya and the umbrella body that brings together enterprises from all sectors of the economy. The Federation’s mandate is to promote the interests of employers and to influence labour and social policy to support enterprise growth and competitiveness in a dynamic global environment.
The Coordinator will be charged with the overall responsibility of ensuring successful delivery of the Female Future program and its initiatives as per set standards and within the overall mandate of the Federation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement Female Future Program plans and strategies
- Build and sustain strong networks with corporates to support in participants recruitment and absorption of candidates into the program
- Sustaining strategic engagements with key donors, partners and other stakeholders locally, regionally and globally to benchmark, share and learn best practices for delivery of the program
- Identify and recruit participants into the Female Future program to meet the set targets
- Design, coordinate, schedule and conduct Female Future Program trainings
- In liaison with the facilitators develop and implement course curriculums , delivery materials, course evaluation guidelines, course award and certification procedures while ensuring that quality standards are met
- Mentor, coach and guide participants on tasks and assignments for various modules in the program
- Facilitate recruitment, assessment and induction of facilitators for the program as per set standards and maintain a database of potential consultants
- Coordinate and allocate facilitators for the various modules and monitor their delivery and facilitation.
- Evaluate trainers and facilitators’ effectiveness in delivery of assigned modules and provide recommendations for improvement
- Continuous research, monitor, evaluate and assess the program, the quality, delivery methods & program effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement
- Coordinate the Female Future Alumni Association and create new business through the network
- Continuously market the Female Future program as well as all services of the Federation to existing and potential members
- Organise the Female Future events such as graduation events, women/gender conferences and webinars
- Ensure return on investment for the program by meeting the course quorums requirements, collecting payments and managing costs
- Perform administrative roles such as budgeting, logistics coordination, requisitions for procurement, preparation of schedules and calendars for various cohorts, contracts preparation among others to facilitate effective delivery of the program
- Preparing and presenting reports on the Female Future Program and any other assigned projects
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Social studies or a related field
- Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership, Management, HR or a related field; Female Future graduates will have an added advantage
- 6 years’ or more of relevant experience in coordinating and delivering of Training Programs preferably Executive Learning programs
- Demonstrated ability, experience and track record in working with multiple stakeholders
- Current membership to a relevant professional body
- Key skills, competencies and attributes
- Demonstrated skills in coordinating and delivering Learning & Development programs
- Demonstrated relationships management, Networking and Marketing skills
- Proven planning, organising, budgeting and performance management skills
- Proven excellent report writing and strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously
- Flexible and able to productively work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A critical thinker with deductive and inductive reasoning
- A proactive, confident, resilient, creative, innovative and amiable individual who inspires confidence in others
