- BS or higher Electrical Engineering degree
- OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.
- At least 5 years direct engineering experience with ETAP (or Similar) power system design/distribution
- Certification/Licensing in electrical fabrication integration, operation and troubleshooting.
- Self-starter and outgoing personality traits
- Demonstrated leadership skills

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Manager Job
- Maintains electrical systems by providing electrical power and equipment; offering engineering support according to engineering specifications in industrial plants;
- Diagnoses causes of malfunctions or failures, recommends modification or replacement of failed equipment and performs preventive/corrective maintenance
- Accomplishes electrical maintenance by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and enforcing policies and procedures
- Provides electrical power by maintaining electrical equipment and outlets; including energy management system for lighting, security gates, security console, and mail conveyor system.
- Develop electrical equipment and power distribution equipment specifications, prepare electrical load calculations for single and three phase loads; prepare electrical single line drawings, schematics and detail drawings and ensure standard operating procedures are dully adhere to at all operations.
- Provides engineering support by responding to requests for electrical problems with timely fault diagnosis to minimize on critical down time
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for electrical material; reviewing and approving invoices;
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment including but not limited to; motors, lighting, generators, workshop equipment and hand operated equipment.
- Oversee maintenance, testing and repair of company-owned electrical equipment
- Assist in conducting electrical training programs for operations staff.
- Daily report writing and hand over to next shift.
