Job Summary: Reporting to the Business Development & Administration Manager the job holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the branch functionally and administratively.
Responsibilities for the Branch Manager Job
- Directing and coordinating all operational aspects including service channels operations, customer service, human resource, administration, marketing and sales
- Developing and managing branch performance forecast, financial objectives and business plans in line with Sacco strategic objectives
- Meet performance goals and metrics
- Implementing and promoting Society products and services.
- Increase branch share capital and grow branch loan portfolio
- Recruit new members and reduce members dormancy
- Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of all branch transactions.
- Monitoring cash levels held at the vault and by tellers on daily basis.
- Ensuring effective and efficient customer service delivery
- Ensuring security of employees, cash and other valuable Society assets and documents.
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory, legal and regulatory requirements in execution of branch operations.
- Liaising with the function heads and other relevant stakeholders on issues relating to the branch.
- Reporting in accordance with the laid down SACCOs reporting structures.
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Branch Manager Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University preferable in business or finance or related field.
- Proficiency in computer skills and
- knowledge with ERP Microsoft Navision will be added advantage
- Sound knowledge Sacco laws and regulations.
- A person of integrity, team player with effective communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with good commercial acumen and ability to identify economic opportunities in changing environment and capitalize on them.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and team management skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
