To receive and triage all requests for health emergency road rescue services and to provide effective and efficient coordination and deployment of these services to meet the requirements described in the Company’s protocols of service.
To identify patients meeting major injury or illness criteria who will benefit from the early activation of ground medical rescue resources, retrieval services or the critical care system to minimize time for the patient to reach definitive care.
Qualifications
- Kenyan Registered Nurse or its equivalent
- Higher National Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing
- Current certifications in: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with experience in Pre-hospital emergency patient care
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working in road ambulance
- Minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience in emergency / critical care experience with 2 years’ experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
