Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-
- Planning, supervision, evaluation and coordination of laboratory work in the area of specification,
- Preparing the budget for laboratory equipment (consumables);

- Overseeing provision of laboratory services as well as allocation of duties and distribution of staff;
- Ensuring training students attached to the Laboratory;

Qualifications
For appointment to this position an officer must have:-
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Served in the grade of Technologist III, Grade MNT 7 for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution;
- Registration by relevant Professional Body will be an added advantage; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

- Supporting the Hotel Manager in the preparation of the hotel Budget;
- Managing kitchen equipment;
- Supervising cleanliness of catering facilities;
- Coordinating food preparation, cooking, placement and delivery of foodstuff;
- Liaising with the Hotel Manager in reviewing menus and dietary requirements;
- Maximizing employee productivity and morale and constantly maintaining discipline:
- Coaching and mentoring staff; and

Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Served in the grade of Cateress II for a minimum period of three (3) years or as a Senior Hotel Supervisory Position in a busy Hotel;
- Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Hotel and Hospitality Management; Hotel and Catering Management; Hospitality and Institutional Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
- Diploma in Food Production from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in Computer Application skills course from a recognized institution.
- Valid Certificate of Health for food Handlers; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Marketing Officer II

- Ensuring supervision of students attached to the laboratories; and
- Performing any other duties as shall be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
Qualifications
For appointment to this position an officer must have:-
- Served in the grade of Laboratory Technician Grade MNT 6 for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution;
- Supervisory skills course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
- Registration with the Engineering Technologist Board will be an added advantage; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
