Chief Operating Officer at ABBAN Solutions

Our client, a fast-growing company is seeking a qualified Chief Operating Officer (COO) to be a critical part of the growth of the company by optimizing the company’s operating capabilities, maximisation of customer satisfaction and managing marketing initiatives.

Your experience-tested skillset will need to deliver results in designing and implementing rigorous processes with financial and engineering components, and to drive operations, finance and HR functions.

 

 

COO JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are looking to hire a COO to oversee operational processes, and to ensure a superb customer experience. The COO will optimise the company’s operating capabilities, maximise customer satisfaction and manage marketing initiatives. The COO will assist in compiling the company’s budget and implement processes that safeguard assets and stock. You will compile financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures. You will team up with management to implement business strategies.

 

To ensure success you should have a clear understanding of the company’s core values and culture. Top candidates will be exemplary leaders, have superb business acumen and have sound understanding of growing a business by attaining excellence in multiple facets.

 

 

COO RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Working with key participants to compile the budget.

• Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.

• Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.

• Controlling company costs and introducing world-class initiatives to prevent theft and other losses.

• Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes.

• Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports.

• Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.

• Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.

• Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.

• Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.

• Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.

• Any other tasks assigned by the CEO.

 

 

COO MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance or a similar field.

• At least five years’ experience managing at least one of the following areas in a fast-growing enterprise: human resources, finance, or Operations.

• Proven track record of outstanding overall performance.

• Proven track record of effectively managing complex budgets.

• A history of ethical leadership.

• Outstanding verbal and written skills.

• Able to lead and motivate teams to high performance.
