Job Purpose:
Responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the activities related to the company’s costs systems and analysis of product costs and contribution margins – including details for prime, conversion and logistics costs. Responsibilities include governance/control, reporting, analysis and planning of supply performance, co-piloting for Supply leadership, and managing/developing supply finance analysts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Representative on the Supply Management Team responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the activities related to the factory
- Ensure adequate Controls and good governance over Supply processes and procedure
- Monitoring and interpreting performance KPIs
- Serve as the Finance Co-pilot
- Support strategy definition and implementation, developing and evaluating longer term strategies
- Manage Supply financial shaping and financial forecasting
- Manage the process of Standards setting, product costing, and transfer price calculation
- Improve, and ensure compliance with internal processes
Education & Professional Qualification
- Business degree
- Chartered Accountant or similar qualification
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably in an international FMCG company with at least 3 years’ experience, in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Business co-piloting experience
- A working knowledge of SAP R/3
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Good interpersonal and proactive approach
