Vihiga County whose headquarters is in Mbale is Located in the Western Region of Kenya. It boarders Nandi to the East, Kisumu County to the South, Siaya County to the West and KAKAMEGA County to the North. It is one of the four Counties in the former Western Province. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND MEDICAL SERVICES
JOB GROUP ‘N’
Reporting to the County Coordinator of Reproductive Health Services.
Will essential be the Boresha Afya ya Mama na Mtoto ‘Ottichilo Care’ Focal Officer
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have served in Job Group M for a minimum period of 3 years or it’s equivalent
- Must be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in health sciences.
- Specialization in reproductive health and/or child health is desirable.
- Must be registered with the relevant regulatory body with active and valid practicing license.
- Must have demonstrated leadership and good performance in the previous assignments
- Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution is an added advantage
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution is an added advantage
All applicants Must fulfill Chapter six of the constitution requirement
Salary Scale: The salary, allowances and other benefits attached to these positions will be as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission and other recognized CBAs as applicable.
Terms of Service: All the above posts shall be on a three (3) year contract term renewable based on satisfactory performance.
