Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Assist with the formulation of a HR policy
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
- Assist with the recruitment and management of temporary staff
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- At least 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of labour laws and contracting.
- Innovative and flexible to offer various solutions as per the business requirements
- Understanding of the recruitment and management seasonal /temporary staff
