IRDO’s principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the DiCE In charge.
Provide HIV Testing Services to clients at O. and during community outreaches
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Offer HIV Testing Services to all clients and provide effective referrals when applicable.
- Provide Provider initiated testing and counseling to clients’ and family members.
- Ensure quality HTS are provided to clients as per the National standards.
- Ensure proper linkages of clients accessing HT’S
- Work with Peer Educators to ensure targets are met
- Ensure clients information/data are kept safe and confidential
- Submit duly filled data forms to the Drop in Centre (DiCE) in charge
Minimum requirements
- Diploma in counseling and VCT, PITC, and Couple Counseling and KPs training from NASCOP accredited institutions.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a by medical facility
- Working knowledge of Nandi County is highly desirable, specifically the KPs hotspots
