In pursuit of our strategic plan we are seeking to recruit Business Marketing Executives for Mombasa & Eldoret Branches.
Purpose Of The Job:
The jobholder is responsible for growth of the branch business by bringing in new business and sustaining existing business in line with the company’s strategic plans from intermediaries/banks and clients in the region.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and procuring of business from brokers, independent agents and Bancassurance channels with the branch in line with the set targets / budgets;
- Identifying business opportunities with potential and prospective agents, brokers, and Bancassurance channels, evaluating their positions and developing a strong sales pipeline;
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market and competitor’s activities.
- Addressing client / customer enquiries and feedback within the timelines stipulated in Customer service charter and/or SLAs signed with respective clients;
- Premium collection in line with the Credit control policy;
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports giving details of individual performance on business acquired / lost / sales pipeline and feedback on market practices;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Any other related duties assigned from time to time by supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration
- Diploma in Marketing/COP, Knowledge of a broad range of insurance products.
- Two (2) years’ experience in an insurance or other financial services organization.
- Knowledge of a broad range of insurance products.
