Communications Officer Job Top Responsibilities:
- In charge of the employer editorial calendar
- Create and deliver corporate newsletter content among other publications.
- Initiate PR activities to promote our services
- Liaise with the mainstream media for enhanced publicity.
- Write and prepare official briefs / documents/reports for presentation and decision making
- Writing quality articles; interesting, educative and informative articles on employment in Kenya that meets our editorial standards
- Posting jobs and articles on the site
- Handling social media accounts for the website including Facebook, Google+ and Twitter
- Coming up with creative ideas on the content for the site
- Liaising with stakeholders and external parties
- Improving brand perception
- Internal events & seminar management
Requirements for Communications Officer Job
- Degree in a related field from a reputable institution
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong researching skills
- Ability to handle strict deadlines
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Should possess good oral and written communication skills and excellent public relations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PR,communications, client service, journalism or marketing
