The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: –
Co-operative Auditor – J/G CPSB 07 (3 Posts)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Co-operatives, the officer will be responsible for:-
- Observing and Preparing Primary Audits and Inspections on Co-operative societies
- Preparing reports/Queries Financial Statements on Co-operative Societies
- Preparing detailed Audit reports on Periodical financial returns for Co-operative societies
- Estimating of income and expenditure and advise on Co-operative investment returns
- Inspection of Co-operatives.
- Collating, evaluating and documenting audit evidence
- Ensuring compliance on the policies and procedures that governs the registration and operations of cooperatives and microfinance groups.
- Performing any other duty assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Disciplines; Commerce (Accounting and Finance), Business Administration, Economics, statistics, Business or Co-operative Management.
- Holder of CPA qualification and register ICPAK member of good standing
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
