The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: –
Superintending Engineer/Building Services – J/G CPSB 06
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Officer in Charge, the he/she will:
- Plan, control and co-coordinate mechanical engineering services design for government buildings and construction works;
- Be responsible for the maintenance of mechanical and fire services in government institutions;
- Check and recommend for approval of engineering consultants’ designs; evaluating, certifying and recommending fees submitted by consultants;
- Coordinate improvements of mechanical services of government buildings and
- Install and undertake research activities on mechanical services
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with Engineers Board of Kenya, Class of Graduate.
- Advanced computer skills (MS project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access and Engineering design software)
- Minimum two (2) years relevant experience
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
