The company has a total complement of over 700 highly trained and professional staff spread across the region and seeks to fill the following position at Nairobi Head Office.
Applications are invited for the position of Wastewater Treatment Engineer at the head office in Nairobi:
Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer in any engineering discipline from a recognized University, with a minimum of Upper Second Honors degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ of experience in design, selling, installing and servicing of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs).
- Good knowledge of wastewater treatment market in the region.
- Advanced knowledge of sewage and effluent treatment technologies.
- A proven sales record with good customer service skills.
- A Driver’s License, Computer Skills including CAD.
- A self-starter, energetic and go-getter who can work without close supervision.
- Integrity, hard work ethic and good presentation skills.
Responsibilities
The successful Candidate will support the growth of the wastewater treatment business across the group through;
- Providing timely response to requests for sales materials, technical information and miscellaneous support from sales engineers across the group and customers.
- Preparing bid and tender documents.
- Preparing proposals for customers.
- Reviewing technical specifications and drawings as needed.
- Making sales calls and conducting technical Sales Presentations/marketing to customers, consultants and other stakeholders in the market.
- Establishing sales leads and making follow-ups on leads.
- Identifying products gaps in the market and making suggestions for new products.
