Operations & Administration Assistant at Liberis Limited

Liberis Limited is a dynamic and fast-growing Non-Deposit Taking Microfinance Company based in Mombasa but with a vision to expand to other towns in Kenya. The company specializes in providing flexible and customized financial services to individuals in private and public sectors with an aim of empowering them to financial freedom through provision of quick and fast loans.  Our target clientele includes Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Salaried employees. We provide both unsecured and secured loan in a flexible, efficient and professional manner.

We are currently expanding our operations and are therefore looking to have competent and qualified individuals to fill the above position in Mombasa.

Position Summary

As the Operations & Administration Associate, you will join the team to play a key role supporting their day to day operations, implementing and improving systems to enhance their effectiveness. Your responsibilities cover all administrative and logistical elements of the team’s operations

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and maintenance of records and valuables by ensuring that all the documents are filed and kept in a systematic manner for easier tracking & retrieval.
  • Promptly updating the companies Loan software and providing feedback on loan recovery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of disbursement instructions to meet organization set TAT.
  • Following up on potential clients by giving them a reminding phone call and answering any potential questions regarding the product the clients might have, while proactively encouraging the client to make use of company financing services.
  • Monitoring and payment control of assigned portfolio of clients using Company software.
  • Efficient and timely processing of payments and tracking of all invoices and payments
  • Preparation and presentation of comprehensive, timely & reliable reports to provide information, aid in decision making and gauge performance of both the officer and the branch
  • Review and upload of defaulters to CRB portals
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma Business Administration or related discipline
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, outlook and other office applications
  • You have experience in the use and management of social media platforms
  • You have a strong, service-oriented personality
  • Fluency in both English and Kiswahili is required

  • Solid analytical skills and experience in credit appraisal.
  • Meticulous with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Aggressive and with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A person of high integrity and professionalism.
