Urgent Cargo Handling limited is a limited Company that was established in September 1985 and offers a range of logistics integrated services.
Our head office is in Nairobi Kenya, with branches at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Mombasa. We have satellite offices in Namanga, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Malaba Busia and on the Kenya – Uganda border.
Main Purpose of Job: To accurately prepare and process IDF and customs entries on behalf of the company within the laid down legal and statutory requirements for the customs clearance procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective IDF Application in ICMS
- Accurate entry registration in ICMS
- Bond security management
- Client Services Support
Minimum Qualifications
- EACFFPC / KRATI/ KESRA Certification
- Single Window, TRADEX and KENTRADE with vide usage of TRADEX and KENTRADE
- Training and experience in ICMS
Minimum Years of experience
- At least 3 years in a busy environment
- Experience and full understanding of Airfreight and Sea freight clearance procedures
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent knowledge of ICMS, KENTRADE and TRADEX
- Knowledge in ASYCUDA and TANCIS systems will be an added advantage
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work long and strenuous hours
