Academic Qualifications
- This is an entry position in the University, and appointment is on either temporary or permanent terms, or on a (2) year renewable performance based contract depending on age, citizenship or any other reason.
- Applicants must have a have a minimum qualification of KCSE Mean Grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent.
- Be physically fit
- Have a certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police
- Have held a clean record of service
- Applicants must have two (2) years’ experience in a similar responsibility and shown merit and ability in their job performance.
- Applicants must have proven integrity, assertiveness, alertness and compliance to orders.

Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring cleanliness in the relevant premises;
- Ensure security of hostels
- Room allocation to students
- Issuance and receiving of room keys from students
- Inspection of hostels rooms, premises and equipment.
- Reporting matters of repair and maintenance to relevant authority.
- Keeping records and inventories
- Enforcing regulations
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or delegated by the Head of Section /Department.
