Position Overview
The Offset Printer Operator will be expected to works with others in the same department to produce high quality print outputs using the offset printing system. The suitable candidate should have a strong command of the following:
Offset Printing
Plate & Film Making
Computer to Plate Technology (CTP)
Various Types of Security Inks and Other General Inks
General Responsibilities
Makes ready and operates web or sheet-fed offset printing press to print single and multicolor copies from lithographic plates
Measures paper thickness and adjusts space between blanket and impression cylinders according to thickness of paper stock.
Mount press plates and set adjusting mechanisms for register and paper size.
Maintain supply of ink, water and paper during operation.
Provide relevant reports to the supervisors
Collaborate with Quality Control team to produce High Quality Print outs
Qualifications
Education: A certificate of secondary education (C- or equivalent)
Experience: Must have worked for 4 and above years as an Offset Press Operator
Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
