What You’ll Do
Our Electrical Technicians are passionate about installing, maintaining and repairing machines and equipment in our facilities. You will be in love with keeping machinery and specialty equipment running correctly, as you play a crucial role in the electrical team that supports the production process.
Responsibilities
Assembling and Installation
- Assemble and install electrical systems, equipment and machines
- Test electrical systems, machines and their components in accordance with the applicable procedures and guidelines.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new production lines
Repair and Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime
- Quick response to all service requests and efficient repair of electrical systems to avoid production delays
- Maintenance of all machines and equipment to ensure they are always working well
- Run regular inspections of the electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair while following the established maintenance protocols
- Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment and electronic controls and systems to stay ahead of potential issues
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously work to prevent and minimize downtime
- Continuously review machinery and electrical safety to ensure the highest standards are met
- Identify opportunities for cost-effectively implementing equipment redundancies to ensure work interruptions are minimized in the case of equipment breakdowns

Qualifications
- You have a least 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing setting or other environment involving significant usage of machines
- You have strong working knowledge of electronic motor control including capability to troubleshoot control panel problems
- You have practical ability to re-wind damaged motors to a high standard
- You are proactive and able to deliver on assigned tasks with independence and little supervision
- You take great pride in your work and are committed to safety
- You are adaptable and possess a zeal to learn
