The East African Institute of Welding is a technical welding institute in Kenya dedicated to promoting welding excellence all around East Africa. EA Institute of Welding is an Approved Training Body (ATB) of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), an international body that seeks to achieve harmonization in the training, examination and qualification testing of welders around the world.

Roles

Teaching, tutorials, training, guidance, counselling, admissions, outreach, visiting students on/and organising placements, assessment, induction programmes, invigilation, distance learning/student liaison, study visits, class/unit reviews, employer liaison, personal and pastoral support, preparation, marking, employer liaison, course review, examination boards, reading and professional updating, course management, internal verification, feedback to students, curriculum development, staff development, management and administration, publicity/marketing, market research, research and consultancy

Qualifications
