Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) is a registered trust of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) and Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) with the mandate to provide reliable, quality and affordable essential drugs, medical supplies, training and other pharmaceutical services.
Job Description/Requirements
Reporting to Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspecting all inbound consignment against set specifications
- Investigating quality complaints and recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions
- Assessing prequalification samples against respective specifications for medical devices & Equipment
- Maintaining an appropriate records management and archiving system in the section
- Coordinating monthly sampling and testing of medical devices & equipment from MEDS warehouse
- Housekeeping, including monitoring of environmental conditions
Job requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing
- Functional skills: Knowledge of GMP and GDP standards Communication skills, Report writing skills, Organisational skills
- Behavioural competencies and attitude: Interpersonal relations, Integrity, selfdriven, Detail-oriented
- Work experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience with medical devices & equipment
