Key Accounts Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage company’s Key Customers
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner with key clients and have responsibility for their retention and growth.
  • Ensure clients derive maximum value
  • Contact the clients every now and then to make follow ups
  • Arrange meetings with the clients
  • Work closely with the customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Coordinate orders customer’s orders and payment
  • Resolve customer claims and queries
  • Follow-up on timely delivery of orders – on time, in full with no errors
  • Establish customer relationships to increase sales
  • Answer to customer’s complaints in a timely manner
  • Prepare and analyze quality reports for Management review

  • Having a high level of initiative and drive
  • Selling Skills
  • Professional demeanor, dependable, and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong written communication, exceptional listening and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of customer care processes and techniques
  • Must exhibit excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements for the Key Accounts Manager Job

  • Degree/ Diploma in sales and marketing or a business related course
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
  • 3-5 years working experience as a Key Accounts in a busy environment
