About The Role

The Office Assistant will be responsible for administrative support for the operations team. Should have the ability to collaborate with and support all stakeholders/interfaces.This position requires a team player attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details.

Office Assistant Job Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly invoicing and costs breakdown for operations.
  • Ensure that all meeting rooms have the adequate resources as per the space.
  • Ensure workspaces have adequate resources: chairs, desks, power connections, monitors, ethernet ports.
  • Ensure that meeting spaces are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Allocate new hires worktools when and as they join Andela
  • Exemplifying customer service traits to Andela employees this includes’ patience, understanding the needs of the employees and addressing them timely, responding to requests on a timely basis.
  • Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items using automobile.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Coordinating events as necessary.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.

Qualifications for the Office Assistant Job

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and familiarity
  • Must work effectively and collaborate with others
  • Self-motivated and willingness to serve
  • Ability to execute projects systematically
  • Proficient in computer applications using Microsoft Office Suite & Google docs, etc.
