Responsibilities for the Public Communication Officer Job
- Specific duties and responsibilities will include:-
- Information gathering on topical issues within the department
- Verifying the authenticity
- Editing
- Dispatching the information for dissemination to the public and media.
Public Communication Officer Job Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean grade C (Plain) with grade C(plain) with a minimum of C+ in English or Kiswahili and C in any other relevant subjects or its approved equivalent qualification.
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Computer application.
The candidate should attach photocopies of the following documents:
- National Identity Card
- Academic: Professional Certificates and testimonials
- Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB): Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA): Criminal Investigation Department (CID); Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) (where applicable)
- Any other relevant document.
