Embu County Job Vacancy : Communication Officer III

The County Public Service Board of Embu wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions.

JOB GROUP ‘H’– 2 POSTS – VACANCY NO.CPSB 61/2018

Responsibilities for the Public Communication Officer Job

  • Specific duties and responsibilities will include:-
  • Information gathering on topical issues within the department
  • Verifying the authenticity
  • Editing
  • Dispatching the information for dissemination to the public and media.

Public Communication Officer Job Requirements

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean grade C (Plain) with grade C(plain) with a minimum of C+ in English or Kiswahili and C in any other relevant subjects or its approved equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Computer application.

The candidate should attach photocopies of the following documents:

  • National Identity Card
  • Academic: Professional Certificates and testimonials
  • Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB): Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA): Criminal Investigation Department (CID); Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) (where applicable)
  • Any other relevant document.
