- Overall in charge of a sub county in cleansing and waste management
- Keeps the head of department informed on all matters affecting the section
- Directs allocation of duties on subordinates staff in the sub county
- To be in-charge of the proper running of the Cleansing Unit and to plan, organize and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Unit
- To be responsible for supplies of cleaning materials and equipment and keep records.
- To ensure that staff of the Unit adhered to Health and Safety regulations including use of personal protective equipment as and when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environment studies or its equivalent
- Working experience of at least (2) years in a relevant field.
- Served in a grade comparable and relevant position in public service for a minimum period of two years
