- Enforcement of relevant county environment laws and regulations
- Undertake policy research and analysis to support the integration of environment concern into development plans within the county.
- Prepare investigations and reports on environment concerns,and attend court when called upon as witness.
- Verification of EIA/EA reports and any other duties as may be assigned.
- Create enforcement notice details and the recording of necessary information on data base as required in compliance with County Policy and Procedures.
- Supervision of the sectional staffs
Qualifications
- Served in a grade comparable and relevant position in public service for a minimum period of two (2) years.
- A bachelor’s degree in any of the following discipline; Environmental science, Environmental studies, Social Sciences, or its equivalent qualifications from a recognize institution
- Knowledge of relevant professional’s standards affecting environment operations.
