Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Supervision of personnel;
- responsible for planning and coordination of procurement;
- implementation and enforcement of the institute Procurement regulations and procedures;
- Preparation of supplies estimates and expenditure;
- control of supplies vote;
- verification and disposal of unserviceable stores;
- responsible for personnel development and training in the department.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Bachelor’s honors degree in any of the following: Commerce, Business Administration (Supply Management option), economics, procurement and supply chain management , marketing, law or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Satisfactorily served in the grade of Supply Chain Management Officer II for a minimum period of three (3) years.
