Roles Summary
The role is responsible for designing, developing, building, hiring, supervising and organizing the direct Field Sales team in all areas where they operate on the poa! network. In-charge of developing and deploying profitable acquisition strategies to meet targets and coordinating with the business on marketing and lead generation activities to exceed set business goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve and sustain average sales target of 300 sales per field sales team on a rolling 3 months basis with a cost of sale of less than $20 per customer across the channel.
- To mentor, lead, coach and performance manage efforts of all field sales teams by conducting monthly & quarterly performance reviews, training and developmental needs analysis, and coaching & mentoring sessions of the current and the next generation of sales team leaders
- Achieve 100% compliance to channel specific sales process by quality checking and review sales process across the channel.
- Hiring, resource & budgetary planning and profitably retain adequate field sales manpower to meet planned sales targets and business growth expectation including leadership development
- Develop and deploy new field sales strategies that will generate new leads for achieving agreed sales targets and support scaling up plans for sustained performance beyond Nairobi region.
- Accurate, timely and comprehensive sales performance reporting of all the field sales activities including lead generation, sales forecast per network and performance per field team
- Contract a minimum of 480 buildings per month in the assigned territories to support sales activities and ensure zero network downtime due to community management related issues
