Infrastructure Implementation

Infrastructure Support

Requirements

Skills:

1. Very strong background in Linux implementation and Administration
2. Good experience in supporting infrastructure in a high demanding environment
3. Implementation and maintaining infrastructure that supports DevOps methodology – Infra as code
4. Knowledge and practical experience in automated server provisioning
5. Extensive experience in managing Linux Infrastructure environment
6. Very good experience in Virtualization and Dockerization
7. Good working experience in Cloud Technologies and server migration to Cloud
8. Good experience in Disaster Recovery management and Business Continuity
9. Managing security and auditing required for the environment and ensure compliance
10. Extensive knowledge on High-Availability, Backup and Recovery ,Monitoring and Security
11. Understand Networking concepts
12. Have an understanding of database / application concepts
13. Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile
14. Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and integrate change management
15. Maintenance of configuration management
16. Knowledge of scripting languages
17. Excellent research skills on new tools, technologies and best practices, most importantly infrastructure automation tools and open-source technologies
18. Experience in supporting, maintaining and monitoring of DevOps related environments
19. Problem Analysis & Resolution skills
20. Analyse IT trends and Best practice
21. Good Estimation Techniques
22. Management of stakeholder expectations

Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring skills 

1. Coach & mentor other engineers
2. Conduct peer reviews, testing, problem solving within and across the broader team
3. Provide technical subject matter expertise and support in the attraction and recruitment of Product Engineers for the organization
4. Participate as a subject matter expert in the development & development planning of the broader product engineering team
5. Support the people change teams in the design of adoption processes (Customer, Employee & 3rd Party Adoption)
6. Risk & Governance
7. Identify technical risks and mitigate these (pre, during & post deployment)
8. Update / Design all application documentation aligned to the organization technical standards and risk / governance frameworks
9. Create business cases & solution specifications for various governance processes (e.g. CTO approvals)
10. Participate in incident management & DR activity – applying critical thinking, problem solving & technical expertise to get to the bottom of major incidents
11. Deliver on time & on budget (always)

Education

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Information Technology
