To assist in collection, collation and analysis of human resource data from departments and appropriate recommendations thereof.
Provide assistance in analysing human resource management issues emanating from departments and initiating appropriate action.
Assist in Monitoring implementation and impact of human resource management policies, guidelines and procedures issued by the Board from time to time and recommending appropriate action where necessary.
Responsible to the Assistant Director of Human Resource Management for planning, coordination, organisation.
Assisting in Analysing the staffing levels and making proposals for succession planning, analysing utilization of human resources in the departments and analysing proper deployment.
Assisting in Analysing staff progression and making proposals for career development and ensuring the correct interpretation and implementation of human resource regulations including pensions, salaries, labour laws and other statutes that impact on human resource.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;

Must be a Kenyan Citizen;
Served as Chief Human Resource Officer or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum of three (3) years or a satisfactory equivalent experience in middle level management in public or private sectors;
Must be a Degree holder in Human Resource Management/Industrial Relation or Public/Business Administration (HR bias) from a recognized institution in Kenya;
A Masters’ degree in HRM or in a relevant field or a Higher Diploma in HRM will be an added advantage;
Shown outstanding professional and managerial skills in HRM; and
Must be Proficient in Computer applications.
