Since its foundation in 1968, GRT (Group for Transcultural Relations) has been working with socially marginalized groups and individuals by setting up protection mechanisms in order to promote social inclusion.
GRT is active in Somalia/Kenya since 1996, where the main fields of intervention are: Community Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Protection (GBV and Street Children) and (forced) Migrations, being expression of GRT’s core areas of expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting GRT Regional Administrator in her daily work.
- Ensuring that the proper administrative procedures and standards are followed.
- Examine documents and receipts from the field to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
- Keeping the organization’s cash books and assist in the facilitation of the cash flow.
- Handling and accounting of petty cash.
- Prepare monthly payroll, pay slip and other schedules of monthly dues and obligations.
- Follow and enforce GRT financial and administrative procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local government financial reporting, taxation and labor regulations
- Liaising closely with GRT Senior Staff on local and international procurement.
- Keeping an updated inventory of GRT assets.
- Arranging for any transportation of persons and goods as may be necessary ( with special regard to flight bookings).
- Performing crosschecks between purchase orders and invoices and related services rendered
- Keeping a proper record of purchase-order forms, waybills and other transport documents.
- Initiating and following up work permit applications on behalf of and for expatriate members of GRT international staff.
- Carry out any other duty as assigned to by GRT management
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor in Business Administration or related field
- At least two years working experience in administration, preferably with an international humanitarian organization
- Experience in procurement, inventory and fleet management
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer literacy.
