Emining Technical Training Institute is a modern built accredited TVET institution situated in Emining, Mogotio district Baringo County. The college is situated 2.5 Kilometres off Nakuru – Marigat highway and 60 kilometers to the Northern side of Nakuru Town. The institute stands on a 15acre piece of land donated by both Emining primary school and Emining boys’ high school. The proximity of the two institutions and Emining township makes the college a resource centre in the provision of technical skills and creation of awareness in career choices and development.
Job Description.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Preparing documents relating to recruitment, appointment, transfers, and Human Resource Management records.
- Processing cases for the Institution’s Human Resource Management Advisory Committee in consultation senior officers.
- Implementing of human resource management decisions thereof;
- Inducting new employees;
- Maintaining employees records;
- Ensuring health and safety of employees;
- Taking care of employees welfare;
- Assist in counseling employees.
- Strategic plan, Policy development.
- Policy development and alignment.
Qualification and Experience
- Served as a Human Resource Officer II for a minimum period of three (3) years in a comparable institution or in the Public Service.
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution or Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- Have proficiency in computer application.
- Meet the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010.
NB:Those with secretarial background will be an added advantage.
