We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the development and implementation of the Kenya Skills for Prosperity (KS4P) communication strategy, to increase visibility of the programme as well as it reach and impact.
Kenya Skills for Prosperity (KS4P) is a new programme that will improve access to HE and TVET education for marginalised and unemployed youth, will strengthen education to industry links and develop an enabling environment for a strong skills ecosystem through technical assistance and capacity building.
The role will lead on the development and delivery of the KS4P communications and learning strategy maximising opportunities for sharing best practice and knowledge.
You will be creative and impactful in your communication methods and be able to demonstrate fluency across digital channels and other media.
The successful post holder will be someone who has worked in disability inclusion or livelihood/employment programmes.
This role is based in Kenya. It will require frequent travel across the region.
About you
You will have demonstrable experience in developing fully accessible communication materials and in managing inclusive events.
You will be an experienced professional in a communication discipline with experience of working collaboratively and in partnerships on multi country initiatives.
You will be at ease managing and developing media relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all communication milestones are met.
You will enjoy reviewing and analysing performance of communication channels and driven to continuously improve and develop the communication offering.
