- The Coordinator, Urban Planning, Environment and Housing reports to the Governor’s office and is responsible for the following:
- Advise the Governor on Urban planning, Environment and Housing;
- Work with the technical team in the respective areas;
- Responsible to the Governor for Policy Interpretation, Guidance and Review of Urban Planning, Environment and Housing in the City
- Liaise with Consultants and Stake Holders where necessary to ensure NCC Government adopts appropriate partnerships and linkage.
Job Qualifications
- Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya, in Environmental Science, Planning, Housing or any related disciplines;
- Master’s degree in a related specialized area will be an added advantage;
- Be a member of a professional body with good standing
- A senior management and leadership course from a recognized institution
- Demonstrate leadership and professional competence as reflected in work performance
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution
- Understanding of county and key national Policies, Objectives and Strategies on environmental and planning
