Reporting to the Manager, Research and Knowledge Management, the job holder shall be required to assist in the management of the institution’s strategy, planning and performance contracting – monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
Strategy & Planning Officer Job Responsibilities
- Assist in collating data relating to implementation of the Placement Service Strategic Plan;
- Assist in undertaking economic reviews of the Placement Service programmes, projects and activities;
- Assist in the preparation of annual work plans for the Placement Service and alignment of the plans with the budget;
- Assist in undertaking economic analysis of investments, programmes and projects;
- Monitoring the implementation of the Placement Services plans and performance contract;
- Assist in the preparation of annual work programmes and budgets for Placement Service planning and development activities; and
- Undertake any such additional duties that are reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.
Qualifications for the Strategy & Planning Officer Job
- Have five (5) years experience in relevant work in the Public Service or Private Sector;
- Have attained a minimum of Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics Computer Science; Business Studies; Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
- Be a member of a relevant professional body / institution;
- Be proficient in computer applications;
- Applicants with training in Monitoring and Evaluation will have an added advantage;
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
- Higher Educations Loans Board;
- A Licensed Credit Reference Bureau
