Reporting to the Manager, Legal Services and Corporation Secretary, the job holder shall be required to assist the management in the supervision of enterprise risk management activities.
Risk & Compliance Officer Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual risk management plan for the Placement Service;
- Assist in performance of root cause analysis on identified risk events and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to prevent recurrence of risk events in the future;
- Carrying out risk evaluation;
- Monitoring timely reporting of risk incidents and analysing trends for reporting;
- Preparing draft risk reports;
- Identifying key risk indicators within the Placement Service;
- Monitoring progress against action plans designed to manage operational and non-operational risks; and
- Undertake any such additional duties that are reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.
Qualifications for the Risk & Compliance Officer Job
- Have five (5) years experience in relevant work in the Public Service or Private Sector;
- Have attained a minimum of Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields:- Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
- Be a member of a relevant professional body / institution;
- Possession of any of the following qualifications or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution will be an added advantage: CPA, ACCA, CMA, CRA, CRMA;
- Be proficient in computer applications; and
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
- Higher Educations Loans Board;
- A Licensed Credit Reference Bureau
